How interesting. So, Gibson telling my shop they're sending the "correctly potted" pickups seems a bit misleading . . . Are they simply gonna put another pair of the same units in there floating around?

Did they ask for the old pickups back? How interesting. So, Gibson telling my shop they're sending the "correctly potted" pickups seems a bit misleading . . . Are they simply gonna put another pair of the same units in there floating around?

Are you thinking of trying the Power Steels?I didn't know you had one! Sweet!
It's raining like a MF here in Seattle.
Played the 7enderbird at rehearsal last night, it's pretty sweet but I'm not loving the strings so much - SIT Fusion Nickel, a little soft and not enough clank, mark it up as experience.

In my experience very little difference from the Power Steels. Same string, other than that fusion process.Good to know. I’ve wondered about the Fusion Wound Stainless.

what’s the fusion process? In my experience very little difference from the Power Steels. Same string, other than that fusion process.
Sorry, I meant the Fusion Steel (FKA RB Stainless).Much as I really like Power Steels, the Fusion Nickel (or whatever SIT calls them) do not sound like Power Steels at all, pretty bland, really.
the wife working up in the city a couple of days a week….I tag along and work from the hotel since I’m remote anyway…I didn't know you had one! Sweet!

RS66 for that….great looking bass….you selling the P neck? is it 7ender branded?
Not enough lasting clank from the RS66 - they sounded nice on your BaCH, they were new
The neck is still at Thunder Road Guitars, forgot about it when the bass was picked up. It is a Cataldo neck that has had it's back sanded, I think @semiprohooker spoke up about wanting first, but once I have back I'll shoot some pics for him and see if the interest is still there.
Stock neck.

Colored ball ends usually means D’Addario.I may, but the strings that were on it, were really nice sounding - they had different colored ball ends?

I think he used All Parts necks for his builds, but I could be wrong about that.
That really does not suck at all.office view not too shabby today…
