Thunderbird Club

I'm not surprised a guy from Edmonton would know that stuff. Hockey is very much embedded in our culture, especially in places with serious winters. These lines from Fireworks by the Tragically Hip make me smile every time:

If there's a goal that everyone remembers
It was back in old seventy two
We all squeezed the stick and we all pulled the trigger
And all I remember is sitting beside you

You said you didn't give a fück about hockey
And I never saw someone say that before
You held my hand and we walked home the long way
You were loosening my grip on Bobby Orr

Sweet candy! How was the fitting process?

I took it to Thunder Road Guitars in West Seattle on Friday morning, it was done yesterday! I think that neck dropped in, the nut needed a little filing I'm sure, but it's all set up and plays nicely, a Jazz neck is much kinder to my left hand.

That's a cool aircraft!
There's one at "Fantasy of Flight" in Polk City, FL. Just east of Lakeland. They flew it in. IDK what its current airworthiness is. They also have a flyable Sunderland(big lake on property).
Edit: just checked their website-the Connie isn't listed.:(

Just bought this 91 Orville. I'll be picking it up in Seattle next Saturday.
