I actually love this cover! Don’t know what it takes to play one of these (besides talent and practice) but it would be interesting to learn. Heck, you could probably make as much money at it as most Jazz band bass players (starving artist territory).

I forgot to let you know I was able to listen to it all the way thru, but wasn't in a position to listen in the song order you recommended. I did enjoy it and will definitely be listening to it again. Just dealing with a lot of family stuff right now (mother-in-law with dementia & Alzheimer's was just diagnosed with a large, aggressive cancerous mass on her kidney). So things are a bit dark for that kind of music. But I have recommended it to a couple of friends.

Good evening Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers and happy almost Friday. Packing up for a long awaited trip to Walla Walla for a couple of gigs. A bit of a homecoming for myself and a good friend in the band. I picked up a second Ampeg 2X10 for moral support and a bit of stage sound. My question is both cabs are 8 ohms, and I am running cable from the little amp, to one cab, and then from that cab to the second one (daisy chain?), do I use the 4 ohm jack on the amp? I seem to recall 8+8=4 in ohm calculations, but am not certain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Tomorrow night at Tranche winery as part of Fall Barrel release, and Saturday, a dance at the local Eagles club. Should be great fun. I know it is a great reason to take Friday off. I hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing evening. Take care.

Andy, I’m so very sorry to hear that. I’ll add her to my prayers.
I have to admit, since my wife passed I haven’t played that CD for the exact same reasons you mentioned. It’s a very dark emotional roller coaster compilation of songs, and not one to take lightly during dark or depressing times.
Hang in there and don’t hesitate to lean my direction if you need anything.
