60s Nonreverse Thunderbird necks are all over the map in thickness, Some I own are thin others really beefy all have 1.5" nut. My '68 thinks it's a Telecaster Bass.

I paid $300 for it, a bargain imho.
Don't think you can go wrong at that price and for what you want if for. Seems like good move.

Where did you find that? And is it a preamp only or does it have a power section?

I have three Bachs one skinny two chunky. Lol
It’s the DiCosimo preamp pedal that he will me making a rack mount version of. This is the pedal.

Mine (it was yours at one time) is skinny.

That looks like someone has already made some mods (you?). I assume the finger prints are a theft recovery measure.
My guess is that it is a Epi Pro IV refinished, new knobs and new pickups or at least new pickup covers.
It should also have a battery box on the back.
If you don’t like the pickups in it and or the preamp, there are other pickup options. At the moment the best ‘bang for buck’ seem to be the chrome vintage pickups that Gibson are selling. That’s my thought from reading the opinion of TBirders that have them. Someone may weigh in on that.

Interesting and confusing. Mine is a 2010 too. I also have a 2010 Goth with the same 1.72 width nut.
It’s Gibson, so whatever was in the parts bin…
