There is inexpensive wireless these days. I like not tripping over cables anymore. Maybe it is my own lack of coordination...

I had the geetar version and my geetar teacher has the bass version.
they can be had for around $70 and sound amazing
there are much newer versions but I don’t think they have improved on anything but ease of use
