They clearly have more problems and are almost always unplayable. Thus more people seeking solutions to get them moderately useable.

^^Stuff like this comment by Miles is far more interesting/fun than debating why Fender doesn't have as many bass models as guitars. There are lots of folks that don't have Thunderbirds, but read the thread. Some aren't even bass players.

I think(?)the reason I have very little trouble singing and playing is that I sang in the Church choir for years b4 I ever picked up a bass. I have no trouble singing "My Girl" against the bass line, for example, but I can't play and sing "Get Ready" to save my arse.
