Thunderbird Club

So Ive been off for a few weeks and have a LOT of reading to catch up on . Hows everyone doing ? I have a gig on Thursday night at a high school with a stage ! Itll be the first time Ive really had the chance to have the amp cranked with the bird through it . Weve played there before on a live rehearsal and the sound was great . Really looking forward to making some noise .
Pix and a good story!

If there's any justice in the world, the first person to have one will be our own esteemed monarch. And there will be no trace of the new ones until Mark's gets delivered.

All I can say is that I was first to place an order with Sweetwater, I will of course share pics ASAP, but it'll be at least July, meantime I need to figure out which dress to wear to the Seattle GTG, I need some polka dot booty shorts too

Well I have no interest either way either, apart from the opportunity it may afford me to be a pain in the arse on the interwebz - all in good humour of course.

Opportunity always knocks. It's about being awake enough to answer.

:)

And you, our dear @kat888 , are always awake enough. :D

And now for this public service presentation:

The Dunlop Heavy Core come in "Heavy" (.110) "Heavier" (.115, which are what I use) and "Heaviest" (.120 or .130...I can't remember which). They're matched to the desired tuning, although I've got a set of "Heaviest" on my Goff Bird and they work fine in drop C. I didn't see an advantage to that guage in that timing so I went a little lighter and got very similar results.
