And here's my flock of Gibsons.
I mentioned dozens upon dozens of pages ago that when a 2013 NR in Pelham Blue showed up that it would be mine and about two weeks ago my search ended. It had a buy it now price and a best offer available so I shot him a price and he didn't even counter.
This bass was a complete case queen. There's not a mark on her and the case is pristine and all the case candy was there as well. And her sound is every bit as clear and full as her Reverse sister. I couldn't be happier.
So if anyone's keeping count, it's now four Gibby's and four Epi's.
Actually, I think that's kinda cool.I so need this...

(Not!)
I haven't cranked a bird through an amp since feb25th. No gigs on the books, tentative 4/8 gig fell through. Withdrawls! I can't even crank a peavey because that other band went bye bye. I could use a little cash too...So Ive been off for a few weeks and have a LOT of reading to catch up on . Hows everyone doing ? I have a gig on Thursday night at a high school with a stage ! Itll be the first time Ive really had the chance to have the amp cranked with the bird through it . Weve played there before on a live rehearsal and the sound was great . Really looking forward to making some noise .
Actually, I considered buying a Mac but I heard about the horrible neck dive they have, not to mention the horrible ergonomics, how easy the headstock breaks and the one trick pony Thud sound they make. Then again I might have my facts all mixed up, I think I read it on the Thunderbird Computer forum.
Same here with the LN.When did Rotosound stop 'silking' the ball ends of their strings? I was going to take a picture of my bridge to have a bit of fun with @Sartori, but the RS66LDs now only have silk at the head end.
Think bassstrings.com would work best running Linux
Linux was always my favorite Peanuts character, his sister Lucy was always stoned, IIRC the Beatles wrote a song about her.Think bassstrings.com would work best running Linux

Ha.
I don't have a rational reason for hating fabric on strings. Maybe because the color I think of as clashing with the color of the bass sometimes, whereas the plain metal goes with any color. But beyond that, I just have this surprisingly intense, visceral hatred of the way it looks.
You would mot believe how mamy times I habe been asked to download the IE browser onto my mac!Does BassStringsOnline.com work better on a Mac or a PC? Which browser should be used?
Sorry, I'll show myself out now.
