Have you tried rewiring one to do the vol/blend/tone thing? Sounds like a really cool idea.

I totally agree about the bridge pickup being a thumb rest. I always play right by the bridge.

The looks dept. is definitely a subjective thing. I find the II looks off-balance.

I have my J wired like that and I wouldn't go back. Should try it on a Tbird.

I fly 1-2 times per month (in North America) for work. That hasn't been my experience.

You must instill fear wherever you go! Could be Canadians are just a better class of people. We seem to have lost basic manners and decorum in the States. Some places obviously are more void of maturity than others.

Yes, I disregarded him from the list being as he isn’t Aussie. Not born here and never lived here. Only in Oz for recording and tours.

Malcolm, Angus, Bon, the Gibbs all born in the UK and moved here as kids, did their schooling here, started their pro music careers here. That’s the difference in my eyes.

Australia has done very well from the post WW2 migration push. Many famous Aussies came here as “£10 Poms”. Some more you may have heard of: Glenn Shorrock, John Farnham, John Paul Young, Billy Thorpe, Olivia Newton John. Many more as well. Truly, the list is long and impressive. We were blessed.

Having seen you play, of course I know where you're coming from and realize it works well for you. I do vary my right hand position a lot thru the course of a night's worth of music, plus fingers and pick as well, a II seems to get my job done without anything sounding bad. Were we playing more early Duran Duran I'd want a IV, for some nasal bite!...

My right hand is everywhere from near the bridge to near the 12th fret. Mostly near the neck pickup, but it does move to get greater tonal ranges.

No ahems, no euphemisms here, as tempting as they are!

I was a blues purist when the Rumors album dropped and I didn’t give it any time whatsoever. I’ve learned from my youthful errors. The rhythm section is fantastic. Lindsey is quadruple threat as a songwriter, singer, producer, and monster guitarist. Christine had a beautiful voice and was a very good keyboardist. Stevie’s voice was amazing.

Probably my least favorite version were the Bob welch years, but there was never a bad version of the band, AFAIK. I miss Dany Kirwan as much as I miss Peter Green, though. As for the rhythm section, heck to the yeah!

I saw Fleetwood Mac OPEN for Logins and Messina on Oct 10 1975 at the Nassau Coliseum in NY.They were playing the album "Fleetwood Mac" which was released that July and really broke it open for them. It was the first time I got stoned at a concert and needless to say it frickin blew my mind !!

I saw them on Nov 14, 1975 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. The venue and the band were both magical in their own rights, enhanced that night by lisurgic acid. I rode the high of that concert for days. I was prepared not to like them as it was yet another change to a band I'd long loved, and who was this chick taking vocal time from Christine?
I fell in love with Fleetwood Mac all over again.

I doubt I instill fear anywhere! But I do try to radiate calmness wherever I go

Mostly I fly Air Canada. I flew American to Dallas last month and I was pleasantly surprised with the service/cleanliness. Definitely a step up from Delta.
