Thunderbird Club

more of an existential thing…..one that makes me very happy to be alive when I look at one of these…..

All you cats posting pics of IIs must be rubbing off. I played all but one song with just the neck on the '64 Sunday. Not exactly the same as a II I know. Pics like your's, Marshall's and V's are going to prove costly to my wallet one of these days if I"m not careful....

Red cap for tri-tip, ribs, and chicken. Brown cap for Prime rib. And the fajita spice for, wait for it, fajitas. Blue cap for those watching salt intake. Pappy’s spices are the bomb!
So this is really good stuff? Going to have to find some of this. Not a West Coast only thing is it?

When I served with the WACS in the Phillipines...............

As stated a few(?)pages back, I've been playing my IV as a II for so long I honestly can't remember the last time I used both-'cept here at the house to refresh my memory that the bridge pup-or pot-is very weak.

The relatively new 45-100 EBCFs are settling in nicely and as an added benefit, are putting(pulling?)less stress on the neck.

Yep. Good stuff. Made in Fresno. They ship from their website and their store on Amazon. But it’s more expensive. $10.00 for the commercial size in stores. $20.00 off the web.
Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for it around here. Many places sell a huge selection of rubs and maybe I can grab some when out.

I usually play with just the neck pickup. Like almost always.

Thank you for "Getting it", I was beginning to think no one would.
I did actually find time to put on a decent dress today....

Nicely done!

I would really like a fretless. I've played a few and liked it, but have never been willing to cough up the $$$ for one.

I’ll bet @WillyW will walk you through DIY.

it really only takes a Saturday afternoon start to finish.

my most complicated was the ebony sapwood and Brazilian rosewood slot fillers on my 21 NR. BUT I didn’t use a CA coating so I saved that step.
