Well..I picked up the main ingredient for the Lake Placid Blue VP project.
It was about 40 minutes from my home.
The seller was kind enough to accept my offer off $100 bucks off of ad price. I think he was so kind because last week I offered to pick up and be a back up if a better offer came in.
No pressure or hassle. Just an option for him.
Y’all know that I’ve been looking for something a little distressed that would justify a refinish.
Well, I continue to be disappointed..this one is as mint as it could be with the plastic still on the control plate…again…Just a micro scuff at the top of the headstock.
It seems like all of the Thunderbird sellers that I’ve had dealings with are cool people. This fellow was no exception..
So when my paint store opens and I will re supply my finishing materials and I’ll get started.
Winter is the best time to paint around here.
