Great to hear. That likely is how my VP is setup with the SDs. I know the pots are 500k, but no idea what the cap value is.Have a little down time from the band so I set up a case on a couple sawhorses to work on a couple of the Birds.
This morning's project, a complete rewire of my Orville. Went from 250K Noble pots to 500K Gibson audio taper and an .047 Cap, the difference is amazing, the SD Custom Shop pickups sound SO MUCH BETTER now.
Now my next insane plan is wanting to put a horseshoe Ric pick up in my Precision

Not for me. I have 5 basses, no 2 that much alike. I don't need/can't afford another. That burnt orange NR that Gibson had listed in their custom shop was tempting 'til I looked at my bank balance.
And, once again, the effing Prize Patrol lied to me(they said they had the directions to my place).
But that ain't a guitar store.

Yeah, I know y'all went to one, but I didn't see anything in the store that I would've wanted. Some of the Club members basses are a different story.

that fretless (almost)….convinced myself I didn’t need it since for starters, I was there checking on the status of my soon to be fretless SD Curlee…..store owner Steve Crisp (used to work on SRV’s stuff) is an old friend and a very talented luthier…..can’t wait….
