Thunderbird Club

not so much into the amp thing, but I got a couple and some of them I like...

I do like octave and phaser for bass but don't use it much

I probably average phaser on a song a week at church. OD/dist maybe one a week. Compressor and EQ nearly always on. Volume is handy now and then. Preamp always on. I'd probably use them more in a rock band situation, depending on what we played.

Missing Summer.

You and me both.

See, if ya came to FL ya'd have summer pretty much all year.
And it wouldn't take ya long to not miss it.

I know you like there Mike, but it's a bit too flat and humid for me. Yes the beaches are beautiful sand with lots of tanned folks running around them.
Washington is just has a lot more to offer scenically and sometimes it's really cool to be at the beach when it's stormy or in the mountains for a hike. When it's Summer here it's a slice of heaven.

We have beaches?!? :jawdrop:
I haven't been since a very good friend died of skin cancer. I used to go 6 days a week.

That’s some super cool stuff all around. Are there many HKs left?
Not a lot of the sedans left in original form. Quite a lot in modified form. The Monaro’s though are very expensive now. Esp the top line HK GTS327, and HT (the second pic was a HT) GTS350 and HG GTS350. The HK/T/G Monaro’s being the first shape or series Monaro. 68,69,70. The 71-74 HQ he showed was the first model of the second series.
Of course the third series was in 2002-6, and the last few years were sent to the US (with mods) as the then current Pontiac GTO.

Have a late 80s greco thunderbird in black and want to replace the three point bridge but it also has the other bit where the strings sit. Can I still replace the three point bridge with a hipshot one and just remove that tail piece?

Hipshot returned my call and mentioned both their two-point and three-point Supertone bridge won't fit apparently. Anyone have experience with the greco TBs?

This is also true about the times of the year for me:
