Ibanez, I don't have a pic of the one I used to own handy just now, very similar to a Greco except for the pickups and bolt on neck.

ESP in their "Navigator" series, made a 7enderbird and of course Jackson.

His already had a switch added to the front, ostensibly to select input and send it directly to the PA line out, so I reverted the inputs to stock, and then wired the switch to a pair of parallel diodes for distortion, per the tip in the original Ashly manual. Now instead of having to plug and unplug a jack to the effects send, I can just flip a switch on the faceplate. The other one still needs some work, getting low output and no gain from it currently, but one step closer to Moving Pictures.

was trying to find that boutique company from Japan making those NRs (cataldoish looking) without angled headstocks….remember the ones?….

One of the few benefits of being a GI brat, I guess)... The USAF did have a demo team when I was born, but they weren't the Thunderbirds yet - and, IIRC, they flew the P-47 Thunderbolt. That I would have loved to see. I don't know why they didn't use the F-51 Mustang, which was still in active service at the time...:cool:

Johnny Rivers is more suited to Rumblekat than Thunderbird; turning on the pedal, gets a very deep sound.
When I remember a song that fits Thunderbird better, I will definitely turn on this tube pedal.

Mine is a convertible and has a complete interior. It will also have a full frame to keep the convertible tub from bending. So, weight. I don't know how much yet.

A poster makes the mistake of thinking FG in the serial refers to Fujigen gakki. But it's really a factory code for somewhere in China. So I don't think there are MIJ Burneys ( Burney being the Gibson Shaped Objects side of Fernandes). Shame Burny didn't didn't stay Bunny, as was the original proposed name. A Bunny Thunderbird has a nice ring to it
