I don’t see any worth noting.
I like a little singed crust.
Just like my pizza

Clean that alien goo off the bridge![]()

I put one in my BaCH II in place of the stock Artec. Huge upgrade. And a bargain at $129. I won’t try to convince anyone it sounds as good as the unobtainable Lull that Veronica put in her blue BaCH, but it gets close.[Invalid or Expired Link Removed] anyone tried this? Considering this to upgrade my Epi VP
I love my J.
The haters can hate.
But this Bird rules the roost here right now.

Which Duncan pickups are in the Jazz?
Apollos.
They are the humbuckers, correct? How do you like them?
I ask because I just got a jazz and am thinking about a pickup swap. Given that you have a T-Bird & Lollars, I would think we might have similar tastes!
I love them. Dead quiet. They have so much punch and clarity.
They take eq really well too.
So many J pick up choices.
But I find these suit my tonal preferences.
I think you’ll really dig them based off what I know you like.
Is you J 60’s or 70’s spacing?
Thanks! That may be the route I go.
Not sure on the spacing. I ended up with a 2023 Fener Aerodyne Jazz bass. This version:

I had money in a "flex fund/wellness" account at work that I thought had been paying for a gym membership. Turns out I never switched the billing from another credit card. I got a notification that I had money in the account and had to use it by 12/31/23 or lose it.Thanks! That may be the route I go.

I have no other experience using any T bird other than my NR 22 bird which these are on. They are great sounding pick ups is all i can say![]()
Yes, I put them in a 1997 Gibson in place of the TB+. They are awesome. I have a variety of “boutique” t-bird pickups in my other Gibson ‘birds and while the others (Lollar, and Curtis Novak, Thunderbucker 66) sound similar, the Gibsons sound different, I guess I’d say they are more “open”. If they made them with nickel covers I would have bought another set for the 1999 Gibson ‘bird I just got. For that I decided on a Dunable D-bird set. These should be different as well since these use ceramic magnets.

That looks cool.
Spacing doesn’t matter, was just curious.
You do have a 70’s J though, don’t you?
But it was this six famous bass sampler that tied the knot that binds-
I just loved the unique tone of the Thunderbird in this clip-

I enjoyed the Bird most. I also was trying to figure out how they made the Jazz bass sound that awful. I have 2 and neither one sounds that bad![]()

Every now and then, the Train Dork has to visit!

Probably the same EQ for every bass, which works for some and not others.I enjoyed the Bird most. I also was trying to figure out how they made the Jazz bass sound that awful. I have 2 and neither one sounds that bad![]()
They are $129 a piece. Almost all of the aftermarket Tbird pickups are $200 to $300 a piece. Except the “Chinabuckers.”Thanks! Will check demo of NR
I thought this come with Alnico?
$129 a set or for one pickup?
