Had some time to take a pic of the '64 cavity and SN. I never noticed, but looks like it might be a pretty early '64. Not that it matters. Who knows, Gibson numbers may go backwards.

Can you read the rest of the pot code? 137 is CTS and the follow on numbers should indicate a year and week of the year...at least my 1964 pots in my B-15NC do.

My DiCola equipped Tbird is rapidly becoming my #1 (out of 20 plus). A big thanks to George for helping with the VT/VT design. I just don't understand why each PUP on basses doesn’t have their own tone control, it just works, and makes the bridge PUP actually useful. I may retrofit all my players to this configuration. And before anyone asks, no tone bleed due to a couple of resistors (again thanks George).

Been watching a lotta Barrett-Jackson. Not that I have the $$$$$, but the only ones I've seen that I'd want were 3 '57 TBirds.
I record the Mecum Actions and occasionally the Barrett-Jackson. While having some healthy prices (and some good deals at times), B-J seems to generally have higher prices. Maybe just when and what I'm seeing go through. Mecum goes to Kissimmee every year. It would be interesting to go. Prolly costs a pretty penny just to get in for the cheap sections.

OK. In all seriosity, when I used to shoot 35mm film-or slides-I got a lotta complements on my composition, lighting. etc. My [flip]phone does what it does.
I've found that using an old home movie "Sun Gun" really helps with the shots in front of the door.
I can't say anything. I have a somewhat recent (Samsung G21+), and still can't take good pics. Once in a while it happens by accident.

Yes, should be able to narrow it down a bit that way. I tried once before years ago and due to solder I never could make it out from what I recall. I may give it another go.

Just from the pic it looks like 64 20th week maybe on one pot.

see? there’s an excellent example, thx for posting…..this time, they had .047uFd caps but that one there is overkill as it looks like it may be mylar (less lossy hence more expensive than ceramic) a tighter (again more expensive) tolerance (+- 20% instead of +80% -20%) and a 400VDC rating which is WAY overrated since one would never see voltages like that in a bass…..they just happened to have those in the stock room when they kitted for that build…..that’s why, the tone (and hence, extended discussions) of different bass models from different manufacturers can be so subjective/irrelevant …

My family lives in the Orlando area. BIL loves going. Didn't this year-$40+ for parking. just to look.

Only "mods" I've ever made to any bass are strings and sometimes removing-and saving-bridge covers/handrests.

...fixed it :)

Everybody (but Mike) modded their basses then. It initially had to do with the major brands limited variety and also the initiation of aftermarket parts like the Leo Quan Badass and Schaller 3D bridges. DiMarzio was the aftermarket pu of choice. After the 'move to nature'/hippy late '60s - many stripped the paint off their guitars/basses to expose "natural" wood. Once Fender saw that trend - they produced "natural" finishes ('70s), abet with thick poly clear-coats. Same with players adding pu's - Fender was 'off-the-back' finally producing a P/J combo - the Japanese companies were selling them years before Fender's appeared. These days - there are a huge number of bass options brand new and also a huge number of aftermarket parts. Add to that (knowing anything about tb) the DIY bug is viral.
