Thunderbird Club

I can't say much (and wouldn't since it might seem political and bring the mods in), but I'll just note that, like Chuck, things are quite interesting in the IP sector (hardware, software, mushware, etc.) WRT the current geopolitical situation. They already were, but everything's ramping up.

So far, I haven't had a need/opportunity to buy/sell a TBird, amp, pedal, or accoutrements from/to other countries, so it hasn't impacted me personally...
That reminded me : I sold my 66Gibson EB-3 to a guy in B.C. He couldn't get used to the Gibby neck profile (coming from a P), so he sold it to someone in Nashville.

Are there Thunderbirds at the end of a rainbow?

Yeah, back then it was considered pretty old. And back then hardly anyone would buy a car near 100k (most typically got rid of them before then), now that's not a thing at all. My '19 Lariat has 102k and likely runs as well as it did with 25k on it.

My first car (w318). Pretty decent engine for pretty light car. With bigger tires in the back it was a screamer, but got squirrely the faster you went. Short and quick was it's thing.

Yeah, torsion bar front suspension and four drum brakes, maybe not the best with a super fast engine.
