Another new bass day!

Bought this professionally refinished silver Goth as a mod platform I’ve wanted to try. Add two pups, get a custom pickguard from @Engle, install a black Hipshot bridge, install black gotoh batwing tuners, paint a matching silver accent on the headstock, do a custom inlay at the 12th fret. Of course all pending it plays and sounds nice.

I didn’t even think about it, but total bonus…

purple silks on both ends…

I can already tell imma like them…

they are stainless and I’m not sure if I have tried stainless flats

dunno if you want to go by my recommendations, I thought TI flats sucked and I hate Labellas....

I'm happy if they feel good and go thumpity-thump-thump, thump....

I think the dunlop flats I have on my EB4 are stainless and I like those and the random sets of EBCF's I have enough NOT to trade them out for pyramid golds...

Pyramid golds are my favorites (followed by GHS I'd say), and are on about three basses. I like the LaBella Low Tension on one bass, but was never really impressed by their DTFs on anything for some reason. I have some Fender SS flats that aren't on anything at present. They sound nice--kind of like Chromes but with more mids and tighter lows (from what I remember about Chromes).
