No, just a funky string cover.1 3/4” is quite narrow. Is there a bridge cover?

D'Addario "Hydrate" fingerboard conditioner. Think I got it from SW.(?)what do you use? mine are looking pretty pale, have never oiled them..
Is that for 18 holes? My garage can hit in the 110’s in July and August. Nothing of value is stored out there in the summer.

That wouldn't work for me. I can't/won't buy anything from Amazon since one of their drivers backed in to my van-in my driveway-and their carrier refuses to pay for it.Search for these on Amazon. Cheap and lasts a long time.

I use Scott’s Liquid Gold. It’s almond oil. It penetrates well and smells decent. Great for reviving kitchen cabinets too. That wouldn't work for me. I can't/won't buy anything from Amazon since one of their drivers backed in to my van-in my driveway-and their carrier refuses to pay for it.
Bass-turds.

What year? Anyway, look to installing a Puretone barrel jack if it’s a flush side mount type. They come in a couple lengths so make sure you measure to get the correct length.Does anyone know of an output jack on Gibson Thunderbird's that "grab" the cable better?
My T Bird cuts out with right angle cables when any pressure is applied. It's fine with straight cables. This cable works perfect with every other fender style jack (every other bass I own). My tech said the jack feels pretty loose and doesn't really grab the cable at all (and I agree).

I’d put a Puretone barrel jack in it then. Your Tech should know what that is. They’re available from Sweetwater, Stew-Mac etc.2014!
A stereo jack might grab better. I know the stereo jacks for effect pedals do.Does anyone know of an output jack on Gibson Thunderbird's that "grab" the cable better?

Yes, Japanese EB3 copy. Likely mid 60s to early 70s. No makers mark. The only interesting item is the distinctive bridge, which was also used by Greco.yours? what is it?
That is sharp looking! Is that your mods or did you buy it that way?

How do the new epiphones compare with your vintage thunderbirds?
