I’m thinking Hello Kitty …It would be a magnificent conversion, especially if it was a more interesting color.
… call Lyft?I plan on posting my arrival time as I get close. I’m shooting for 5pm Thursday and staying near the airport. So, if anyone needs a lift…
Ahem.Something about getting together and tossing salad.....
I may hand them over as I pick you up at SeaTac![]()

Planes, trains, and automobiles. The similarities are scary. And we mostly gravitate to one (well two) bass shapes.Awesome stuff! Nice photos. One thing we all share is our unique little part of this vast world! I picked up a train vibe from your earlier posts! T-Bird lovers aren’t just one dimensional beings. Each one of us shares our love of our Birds but we also enjoy others interests outside of our instruments.
Plaid, duh. When I have Jeremy transform the body from the broken VP with the shattered neck to 60’s II pickup position specs, I'm going to have him flatten the mid section and add a veneer center piece for the face. But mine will be a complete strip and refinish anyway. And maybe thin the body overall a couple millimeters. I’ve decided to contour the body to be more like my BaCH and Studio. The very nice Epi IV neck that I have for it will be flattened on the back just a bit. I would love to bring it in around 7 1/2 pounds so I’ll likely need Hipshot ultralights to get there and for balance.
Now if someone would just sell me a Lull Thunderbird pickup for it.
Guess the color. Three guesses. The first two don’t count.

At least what they called me, Marshal(l) Dillon, was a cool TV character. And yes, that is how I got my name. I was born on a late Saturday night. Napoleon would have been better, but that show came later.we left-handers have been ignored and disenfranchised our whole lives, and now you have the added ignominy of the slanderous use of your good name on top of that. I was constantly called Donald Duck when I kid, but you have it worse now. I'll sign any petition you create. Even contribute to a go fund me cause to right this wrong. Of course, if you ever have a bad day and someone calls you a Ken, you can have some fun with it I suppose.
I did not realize you were Irish. But could have guessed.I'm Kenough, Donnie.
Does it come with a crack pipe and a pound of crack?
Paid half that with the case.
EB-3's are the SG body with the mudbucker + that poopy soapbar bridge pickup from the 70's
More recent ones with the mudbucker + poopy soapbar pickup are called SG basses.
Keep it running as long as you can. Pre Ford and way pre Geeley. I’ve owned five Volvos. All great cars. But once Ford bought them, I was done. And Geeley is awful.LOL
I eventually went the Volvo route for hauling. I currently have an XC70 T5.

Could have been Chester. At least what they called me, Marshal(l) Dillon, was a cool TV character. And yes, that is how I got my name. I was born on a late Saturday night. Napoleon would have been better, but that show came later.
Close. Know the chords and the key, and the main riffs. Stick to that, and charts be damned. Unless you’re in a tribute band.Does that mean I can play any notes I want regardless of the chart? Wait, I do that already, just unintentionally.
Some yeas ago, @BklynKen had a source for pretty much anything you needed for truss covers, pickguard covers, etc. Maybe he can recall the seller. I’ve looked, but hid my reference so well that I can’t find it.I am looking for chrome screws like the ones that are used on the trim rings for a VP. The ones I need are the #2 that are approximately 7/16" thread length (fine threads). I found the following but it looks like coarse threads and a larger head. Any suggestions on sources?
GS-3376 Small Tuner ScrewsChrome / Pack of 16
This is one from my VP.
