When I have Jeremy transform the body from the broken VP with the shattered neck to 60’s II pickup position specs, I'm going to have him flatten the mid section and add a veneer center piece for the face. But mine will be a complete strip and refinish anyway. And maybe thin the body overall a couple millimeters. I’ve decided to contour the body to be more like my BaCH and Studio. The very nice Epi IV neck that I have for it will be flattened on the back just a bit. I would love to bring it in around 7 1/2 pounds so I’ll likely need Hipshot ultralights to get there and for balance.

Now if someone would just sell me a Lull Thunderbird pickup for it.

A NR with a tapped DeCola in the bridge position would be awesome. I always run my ‘15 with the neck in full humbucker. But tapping the bridge is a great sound and noticeably different that having the bridge in full humbucker mode.

It's funny how names get chosen to designate problem people. When I first started getting involved with racing bicycles in the '80s, a guy on a bike to avoid was a "Fred", usually someone who wasn't a good cyclist and could cause a crash riding in a group training or racing. Why Fred? Who knows?

And my daughter’s response is “here’s my supervisor’s information.” They complete reports of interactions. She hasn’t been counseled in the six years she has been flying with them. You would maybe be shocked at the number of passengers who are met by air Marshals or other authorities at the end of those flights. It is a lot more common than people realize. And it is more frequent now since the pandemic. There are logical reasons for the increase in occurrences. But I like it here and don’t want to get banned.

Funny thing about that: We've often asked to speak to the manager. Last time was at a restaurant we ate at. We told said manager that the service was excellent and that they should do everything possible to hold on to the server.

I love the old steam trains that were modernized before diesel like the Mallard. These were the jetliners of their time. You seem experienced in trains and planes from previous posts. I still stop at train museums and study old trains but not as detailed as you!

Have you ever seen it? It’s housed in the York Museum. They took it out for a spin some years back. It is absolutely lovely.

No trip over to Britain is complete without a visit to that Museum. IMO.
