Were you here for the Whittier and Northridge quakes? Those two and one in Santa Barbara around ‘75 rattled me.I’m sure they’ll be some news about it at some point.
Didn’t last long, but felt like the building was gonna go.
Was a bit scary. And I’ve experienced 7 pointers in Cali.
Sounds like the town I grew up in. Except cell service hadn't been invented yet. Neither had downhill.
Or had a pool going for what the USGS announcement would have been. I was at a business meeting in Marina del Rey in the early 80s when a high 4 hit. All the folks from Texas dove under the tables and all the CA natives starting betting on the size.

From ‘85-‘93, then from ‘97-2001.

Sell some clothes.yeah, got one years ago…. the construction quality is breathtaking…..I could literally stare at the innards for hours…..truly a handmade work of art…
just the tubes alone are probably worth well over 500 bucks and won’t go into the incredibly complicated multi level rotary switches etc…..unfortunately, no room….![]()
and Loma Prieta…So you were here for Whittier and Northridge. The Northridge quake was a big one.

A friend was living close to the epicenter and had his grand piano go through the wall.My parents were in Santa Cruz for Loma Prieta, they do not have fond memories of it.
stuck in Ben Lomond for days…A friend was living close to the epicenter and had his grand piano go through the wall.
That must have had some angry piano tone.A friend was living close to the epicenter and had his grand piano go through the wall.
Turned into tone wood. That must have had some angry piano tone.
And there's this one that pops up as well:
It looks like it's in good shape. If you can repair it if isn't, then that seems like a decent flier to take.down to 37.50 now……hmmm..

I’ve definitely thought about it. It’s been there a long time. But I’ve managed to avoid hitting the button. And there's this one that pops up as well:
Gibson Thunderbird IV Sapphire Blue 2000 Electric Bass Guitar | eBay
It has had a neck repair, which is why it's relatively inexpensive for these days. The color looks a little dark for Marshall, but we don't judge, especially when enabling.
