We just had a small earthquake here.
Was a bit intense.

I’m sure they’ll be some news about it at some point.
Didn’t last long, but felt like the building was gonna go.
Was a bit scary. And I’ve experienced 7 pointers in Cali.

On the other hand, I don't want to be in a tall building with any shaking.
Being in a basement during an earthquake is an interesting experience!
Thanks for saving me on the punch line. I think the cell tower that’s duct taped to the goats back side in this banjo town lost service when the goat moved

Sounds like the town I grew up in. Except cell service hadn't been invented yet. Neither had downhill.

We've had a few small tremors more recently which is good, helps relieve stress - better than one big one. Even still it seems less tremors than since I moved here in '90. I remember them being a bit more common. I was in SF the day of the '89 quake but flew back to Cincinnati earlier in the day.

Yah.., "oh... did you feel that? ...as I was saying..."
Or had a pool going for what the USGS announcement would have been. I was at a business meeting in Marina del Rey in the early 80s when a high 4 hit. All the folks from Texas dove under the tables and all the CA natives starting betting on the size.
