Thunderbird Club

Some harriers a Boeing Field today

I recall the first time I saw one; they flew some up from Florida to Atlanta when a hurricane was incoming. They were amazing. Now they're still cool, but the modern fighters mock them without even trying. Newer ones can do X-Wing stuff.

Looks good!
IIRC - that’s the neck I did some rough cut shaping on as a test mule to see just how small I could make the stock headstock (for weight reduction) and what impact if any did it have on - neck dive, dead spots and tone. It was pretty minimal on all three and probably only noticeable if you did a side by side comparison.

Found some new gold Y-tuners in my parts bin - rough cut a tr cover (needs fine tuning). Kind of a "Tarzan" tr cover.

For Thunderbird Thursday, here is an Epi Vintage Pro for $399 with a case: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

It still doesn't beat the deal I got on mine.... but that's not a bad deal at all. especially if it has the epiphone case.

maybe I don't need a sparkly one after all.... since I love sunburst so much...

I don't have one of them bass tuna-matics, what are the complaints about those?
