It still doesn't beat the deal I got on mine.... but that's not a bad deal at all. especially if it has the epiphone case.

maybe I don't need a sparkly one after all.... since I love sunburst so much...

I don't have one of them bass tuna-matics, what are the complaints about those?
Zero complaints with mine. Quick to adjust (only two screws) rock solid and easy to palm mute on. My preference over the three point, also my preference over a fender bent plate.

down to 37.50 now……hmmm..

yeah, guess it’s one thing to experience one on terra (non) firma and another when you’re off the ground like on a 30th floor or whatever..…

In a building that probably didn't have earthquakes front and center in design criteria as much as California buildings now have...

yeah, got one years ago…. the construction quality is breathtaking…..I could literally stare at the innards for hours…..truly a handmade work of art…
just the tubes alone are probably worth well over 500 bucks and won’t go into the incredibly complicated multi level rotary switches etc…..unfortunately, no room….:rollno:

Thanks Geo. Serial # likely shows it was made near the end of ‘12. Gibson designated them as ‘13’s. They only made 400 each of the blue and the burst. So they’re rare. They came with the modern creamic Tbird+ PUPs. 1.6 Corian nut. And a volute on the back of the neck below the headstock. I really like mine; it sounds, plays and looks great. The blue has a bit of sparkle.

Mine is a little on the heavy side at just around 9 pounds. My ‘21 is right at 8 1/2.

I wouldn’t necessarily call the mod adding the EMG TBCS pickups an upgrade, but that’s just me. But the Babicz is. All the original parts and certificate are included so that’s good. And that era case is really nice. The price is fair for these times and the seller is asking for an offer. Could be a great find for someone looking for something a bit unique.

Having said all that, I confess that I like my ‘21 NR and my BaCH NR a bit more than I do my ‘13. But I’ll never sell it.
