Aga's is my personal favoriteH.. I really have no reason to go to that side of town for the next couple of weeks..... But some of the best Indian food in town is on that side so maybe![]()

I masked and airbrushed the raised headstock inlay black. It was all red. Vintage Gibson’s exhibit both, not surprising as they were a bit of a job shop at the time.
What type paint did you use?I masked and airbrushed the raised headstock inlay black. It was all red. Vintage Gibson’s exhibit both, not surprising as they were a bit of a job shop at the time.
Is it worth $37.50 plus shipping for a clueless idiot who would probably break it even if it works? It lets you see waveforms so you can see exactly what a circuit or component is doing.
Hey, wait... [hides sticks]...yep.....don't tell them and burst their bubble...

I really like mine. Thanks Geo. Serial # likely shows it was made near the end of ‘12. Gibson designated them as ‘13’s. They only made 400 each of the blue and the burst. So they’re rare. They came with the modern creamic Tbird+ PUPs. 1.6 Corian nut. And a volute on the back of the neck below the headstock. I really like mine; it sounds, plays and looks great. The blue has a bit of sparkle.
Mine is a little on the heavy side at just around 9 pounds. My ‘21 is right at 8 1/2.
I wouldn’t necessarily call the mod adding the EMG TBCS pickups an upgrade, but that’s just me. But the Babicz is. All the original parts and certificate are included so that’s good. And that era case is really nice. The price is fair for these times and the seller is asking for an offer. Could be a great find for someone looking for something a bit unique.
Having said all that, I confess that I like my ‘21 NR and my BaCH NR a bit more than I do my ‘13. But I’ll never sell it.

I think Chucky likes his too. Mine is great.
No. If you buy it, it’ll go on your todo list to learn how to use it. Hate to be the bearer of bad news Will, but you’ll not get to it until around 2065. I doubt you’ll have the energy to mess with it by then.Is it worth $37.50 plus shipping for a clueless idiot who would probably break it even if it works?
With shipping, pretty pricey for a decoration. Only you can make that call!Is it worth $37.50 plus shipping for a clueless idiot who would probably break it even if it works?

I have many friends that are drummers, probably more than guitarists. At least ones I would play withI get the bandmate humor, and have my share of issues with certain drummers I've played with, but I am generally very nice to drummers I play with as they are my direct connection with the end result as part of the rhythm section. I'm not afraid to ask for this or that way of playing in a song but always paraphrase it with... "...I'm not a drummer and don't want to tell you what to do, but...". Classic passive-aggressive move.![]()
SO GOOD!!!! Unfortunately, I'm the only one in my entire family that'll eat Indian food. That is exactly the 1 that I was speaking of. Probably the best in the Houston area really.

Looks much better that way!
That is a very nice bass!
There were some Gibsons in the 60’s that had colour matched headstocks, according to Geddy Lee.It's one more step they would have to do on the model - some cost-cutting suit determined it was a 'modern' take on an otherwise vintage RI...
