Thunderbird Club

Can’t say I’ve ever pulled the prints, but having been a safety engineer (Fire and Life Safety among others) I will say that I have a habit of quickly summing up the fire sprinkler coverage, emergency egress and occupancy limit every time I enter a large crowded room for the first time. There have been lots of bars that I turned around and walked out of because they were too packed, didn’t have nearly enough exits, and little to no visible sprinkler system.
Think Beverly Hills Supper Club - 165 killed and 200 injured as it burned to the ground during a John Davidson concert.

You know what fire departments hate? Ikea.

Thanks for the post Blaze!

That is incredible. Tres Hombres was a California cruising staple when I was in high school (‘72-‘76). And they didn’t appear live until ‘86 after they sold 30 million albums? Hard to believe. I love them. RIP Dusty.

I saw that movie Anyone But You on the plane. It is ok, better than I feared but could be better… pretty watchable fluff.

A lot of it is set in Sydney, so I thought I better add some advisory notes:
It is NOT advisable to jump / fall in the harbour from a boat. The water is clean enough these days so there are many more fish in there these days…. many more of the critters that eat the fish as well.
It is NOT (even more than NOT) to leap from a cliff into the harbour or the ocean. Many that try that do not live to regret it… the others that may survive it may strongly regret it.
If I don’t *know* it’s safe to jump in such situations, I won’t.

I wanted my HPF back on my board, so I ordered this afternoon the mini version of my beloved Sonic Research Turbo Tuner ST-300 and it's already been shipped. Great company and great product. I've been using the full size (MXR-size pedal) for eight years and it's been fantastic.
If Broughton made a nano sized version of their h/lpf, I would probably spend some money and gain a half inch or so on my board. But the one I have is always on and works. And it is Burgudy Mist Metallic. More or less.

Maybe he can't fit all that in the tiny enclosure. Plus the color satisfies your shallowness.

Works for me. Besides, my board doesn't need more space anyway. The wah goes on when needed and gets replaced by envelope follower and fuzz or octaver depending on the purpose. Upright through envelope and octaver can sound Booker T Rhodes-ish enough to keep me amused.

one of Willie’s 442s…..lucky 7ucker…now this is what I’m talking about……:drool::drool:
