Thank you Brian. I’ve been waffling on that one. Taxes killed me this year so it is unlikely to land here.

The price doesn't look too bad to me. Plus it is close in age to the magical 2001. It is in better cosmetic condition, too. I am full up or it would be seriously tempting.

Mine is sub frame connected with a roll cage. 3270 with driver on the NHRA scale

the scattershield and driveline becomes really important when traction goes to the premium setting (mine has both obviously, and a chromoly driveshaft)

I won't have tires as big or sticky as yours. They will spin up. That may be my car's final weight, since it won't have a cage. It is a street car first, everything else second.

Haha thank you. Well, it's not my day job. I build bass guitars in my spare time. The time I used to spend on playing in a band and practicing/rehearsing, I spend on building bass guitars these days. I quit playing in a band seven years ago.

Maybe my avatar should say Hobby luthier instead of Amateur luthier?
