Did you happen to see the History Channel”High Hitler”? They discovered speed and were all hopped up on Crystal Meth and would fight for days at a time with no sleep! That was the Blitz Kriég. They also used OxyContin liberally. The whole German army were drug addicts! The pilots too. We finally bombed their pharmaceutical factories.

They were all whacked in every which way.

Yeah there was a lot of really screwed up stuff happening then

Also heard a lot of stories of US troops being pretty blitzed out in the Viet Nam era

Hitler was a health nut (just plain nuts) and vegan and felt immortal so they lied and told him his heavy drugs were vitamins! He shot up like 4 times a day! Anyone could buy a whole tube of Crystal Meth OTC!

I had no idea that Robert Clary had written an autobiography. I knew that he had been in a concentration camp.
I just started reading it. Pretty fascinating look into life in pre war France, I'm just about up to the kick off of the war.
Of course my biggest knowledge of Clary's career comes from Hogan's Hero's, it's pretty evident when he exclaims "dirty bosch" he's not acting.
