I had a couple of these in the early 80's!

Currently trying to figure out how to get the height adjustment screws back into the side bracket at the bottom. No small feat with not enough slack to pull the pickup out and the screws going through the pickup ring.

The venerable old Revell 1/32 ME 262, it still builds up into a decent model.

Seems basses aren't the only thing piling up around here.

Reminds me of my late high school friend's apartment when his brother was going through it. Apparently he had run out of space - there were models in their boxes inside his old Fender 2x12 speaker cab. Many of the boxes had 2-3 identical sets in them.

That is one thought, for at least getting the stock ones in. Oddly, the stock ones are flat head. I might also see if I can keep it out enough with some gaffer tape. I have a very strong magnet that has holes for magnetizing and demagnetizing screwdrivers, but I don't want to risk messing up the pickup with a strong magnet.

I wouldn't go near the pickups with a magnet. If you can figure out the thread size, I would order some longer stainless machine screws and cut them down to the size(s) you need.

The stock ones are fine I think. I just must have loosened them too much and they came out of the brackets. Live and learn.

I was just thinking about longer ones to hold it in place to get a stock one in, then get the other in once it's aligned.
