That's where I was going with that. A bit amusing that he was 25 years too early. But we always go through fashion cycles in all things. The increasing "production" of the hair metal genre lead to the pendulum swinging back to basics as grunge. Just a punk was the pendulum swinging back from glam/art/prog rock.I always saw Neil as the godfather of grunge.
Is it super light?
Negating my balsa theory...No, not particularly light.
I like his songs and agree on his influence (musical). But I dislike him and his singing. I enjoy covers of his songs.Neil is one of alternative rock’s great architects. Listen to tracks like Cortez the Killer and you’ll realise how much influence he has.
Wow...your work looks great! Do you build whole basses/guitars or just like to repair/modify them? That’s a snapped headstock repair I did. It was completely broken off at the nut.
Pun, n. A form of wit, to which wise men stoop and fools aspire.I'm stumped. Just when I think I have a decent guess I change my mind. Whatever it is, I guess it's uncommon in NA.
I am really glad that no one has guessed morning. It's tree wood.
Still early in the sanding process. The lighter patch in the middle is rough compared to the rest of the back.Looks to be Limba in the close up shots, I’d like to see a shot of the whole bass body from a few feet away. Close ups of wood tell me nothing, need to see how the grain flows and the
The description would have to read - impossible to intonate. Look where those original bridge inserts were, how far they moved the bridge towards the neck and the final resting spot for each saddle all the way back against the back of the bridge. Could be fixed easily enough but a hassle none the less.
There should be a special place in hell for people that knowingly and gleefully take advantage of other people.

I was excited for a moment by set 1 song 13 then realized that it was NOT Fly By Night...The Code Delta set list for tonight:

I've seen scarf joints on many instruments but that one looks a little different...not bad just more complex.

Interesting differences between the 64 and Vintage Pro, the center block is a full 1/16 thicker than my VPs, the 64 is noticeably heavier than any of my VPs. I haven't measured but it looks like it has less headstock angle than a VP, I'm guessing made up for with the pitched neck. Many VPs suffered broken headstocks in shipping so I think including the gig bag and adding neck angle are to reduce damage in shipping, just guessing . I do like the faux MOP dot inlay, much nicer than the plain inlays on the VP.Please no comments on my appalling lack of self control. I waited over a year for the new Thunderbirds to be released and had already picked Ember Red. I was not happy one with the changes made nore tge example first shipped. The House of Guitars just got a second one on and it's a keeper! I've modified my complaints about the changes and give this version a big thumbs up. It’s clearly dandelion pressboard. If need be, you can cut chunks off to make salad or stew.Negating my balsa theory...
They take the money and disappear. Or it’s just to phish for bank account info. I’ll be curious to see if they kept bidder lists and contact them.So being a scam - how is the 'seller' think they are going to gain from this? I imagine it being shut down by eBay.
