In music? Absolutely. I can't tell you how many times I've replied to a band posting looking for a bass player (Craigslist - it's a cesspool, but it's the only game in town), and the first thing they ask in their reply back is, "How old are you?" Often no reply once you tell them.
Up here they out themselves in the ad, usually.

yeah I get that….sad…we are lucky, that band playing Zep spans almost 50 years….the singer is 67 grad old, the guitarist 20….pretty unusual…..

Ideally music should be 'ageless' as your current example exemplifies. When TSC had our 25yr old drummer Zach, we had Kirstin at 35, Paul at 59 and me at 70... (oh, and K's daughter 'on-board) :)

It's refreshing when that happens. I have played in bands that spanned pretty big age gaps. I think the largest was a singer who was a teen and a drummer who was nearing 70 in the same band. I don't actually know how old anybody is, exactly. I'm still playing with that same drummer, and we have three guys in their 30s playing with us now. For a while, I played with a singer and drummer, who were both mid-20s ish, and a guitarist who was in his early 60s. We would get some strange looks, like the singer and drummer were our daughters or something. Audiences would occasionally try to figure it out and fail. They are all still pretty good friends, many years later.

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed] is a fun one. If Music Theory is under my belt, will he be able to come up for air? Fretless is mendatory, but is it mandatory? And after all that, my name isn't Real Bandmate. And lastly, you're going to email my live videos back to me? What good does that do?

Ha! what if you don’t like pedals?...

Once smoked some stuff in the parking lot with some cool strangers before a concert. Said something afterwards about it having angel dust. The opening act was like dream or out of body experience. There, but not there.... Hope they were good. I enjoyed myself being where ever I was. But never did that again.

This was in my stupid years. If I asked, it was only after partaking. If.
