I’d love a red custom shop but with the chrome LP pups like some other CS colours got.

The fire that started in Gorman Saturday was a warning. All because some idiot towing a horse trailer on I5 was dragging a dropped chain that emitted enough sparks to start brush on fire and burn thousands of acres, several cars and buildings, close the freeway for hours and otherwise adversely effect the lives of several thousand people. And the fire danger sign warnings were at low risk.

I love California. But it’s many of the people who live here, most non-natives, who give me pause. I grew up being taught all the precautions we need to take. Check and double check everything. All it takes is one negligent idiot to ruin things.

Is your house wooden? I ask because in Wellington NZ (in an earthquake zone) a lot of the houses are wooden. I asked about it and was told they handle earthquakes (the flex I guess?) better than brick houses.

Well, also she had an Aussie manager who had her regularly doing the Aussie circuit between Ike and her big solo career. It kept her working and getting paid.
We love some Tina Turner down here.

My street has ornamental (non fruiting) Pear trees as street trees.

They are a pain in the be hind.

This is/would be far more counterculture than anything hippies did in in the 60s. Like choosing to maintain one's virginity at a nudest colony. (I did see some pics once where that would not be a challenge.)

TB is my only social media and I live a satisfied life not knowing so much about far too many people's business. I have no problems with others benefiting, but I personally choose the benefit for me is not being on it.

I love watching them.

We see them most every day. But then we might go a few days and not see any. Lately it's been every day.

Yes. Wood frame bolted to a concrete foundation. There are still some unreinforced masonry homes and buildings here that have somehow survived, many that have survived have been retrofitted. But as a practical matter, in a 7.0 or higher quake, most structures will will sustain major damage depending on the location to the epicenter of the quake.

Totally understand. We’re all different. I generally detest flats. But on my ‘13 MIM 7ender with the stock pickups, they just work. It’s my only bass of more than twenty with flats. It’s my bass of choice for Booker T and a lot of Clash songs.
