I won't be putting the Peavey Foundation back together until the end of the month. But Bourns swears this is a real blend and not a pan. It is not a full size pot, so the soldering might get a bit tricky. A couple of forums confirmed this has no volume drop at detent. We'll see.

Ok. I’m being serious now. We are not supposed to use weed killers at our mountain place. So managing vegetation for fire control can be a challenge. I only use vinegar mixed with water and a tiny bit of dish soap as a surfactant. It doesn’t get the roots, but it also doesn’t harm the wildlife. I saw my second dear of the season last night. I love watching them.

George told me that a pan pot has an issue where the volume changes as you approach the detent. It has been stated in other forums that you can't trust manufacturers calling something a blend pot (no volume change) when, in fact, it is a pan pot.

I use a gallon of 40% and a gallon of water into a two gallon sprayer. That is pretty effective as long as I do it every eight weeks from April to October. I have not tried adding salt. I note that doing it consistently makes each successive year more manageable. This is the third year I’ve been here. I have heard, anecdotally, that after five years it is pretty easy to control everything. Consistency is the key. Of course the idiots we bought from hardly did anything so I inherited a jungle at the beginning. It’s a half acre, so keeping it cleared cuts into shed time. And don’t get me started on raking up pine needles.

One was enough. It was a juggling act. We had two high schools in town. Between Suzy Q (her name was Susan, and of course we played the song for her) and other girlfriends….it got “complicated.” The saving grace was that there wasn’t social media. I don’t understand how kids have fun now. I’d think there would be way too much drama to pull that off now.

I had a grade-school gf named Suzi, Suzi Smith to be exact. First girl I kissed. The Who song "Magic Bus" was new then and I would take a bus to get to her house, so that song rang true for me.

That would be the only 'other' T-bird I'd be interested in. I don't know the exact dates Gibson offered a Gen1 T-bird with an ebony fb, but it was in the late '80s-early '90s.

My '91 has an ebony board. So does the '01. The '15 has rosewood. I think they went to rosewood sometime in the late zeros, about the same time they changed the neck angle. There's also a high possibility I don't actually know.

My first was Kim. 7th grade. She has a PhD, lives in San Clemente, and has a ton of dough. Oh well.
