so easy to work with, I placed my order on the phone with a very knowledgeable and competent sales dude (Spike?) and he told me that they custom build to order and it took about 4 months….sure enough it came in when they said it would…..my first Warmoth build and can’t say enough how impressed I am with the service, quality and pricing from this outfit…..this is after all an all custom build and coming in at way under 2k (Made in USA) is very commendable for what I’m getting……wish I would have pulled the trigger before….

I’m back up to one fretless right now and lovin it. Unlined is the way to go, but I do have cheater dots on the side of the neck locating each fret position as well as the 3,5,7,9,12 etc. That’s a life saver for me. If I had that beautiful maple neck of yours I’d be calling @JIO for a full set of side dots to be installed.

While we’re on the fretless topic, @WillyW swears by rounds on a fretless and flats on a fretted. I currently have flats on my fretless but might try some rounds out of curiosity. What are you planning on stringing your fretless with?

it has the dots George…..don’t really use them anyway as I tend to use the ear mostly when on Fretless……like Willy, also favor steel rounds on them…..GEO’s advocating LaBella DTBs however…..we’ll see….was also considering black tapes…..

Exactly! From age 5 to ~11, on the east side near Railroad Drive. Nothing over our back wall but desert. It was our playground.

Just want some confirmation from other Epi Tbird 60s/vintage pro owners, is the truss rod dual action? I am replacing the nut and went to loosen truss rod all the way and found it seemed to begin tightening again. I would have thought that this bass would just have the standard single action.

I've got two and haven't needed to adjust either. I would think standard. I don't recall seeing any info on the TR. Good luck. Hopefully someone will be along that has something definitive.

All my Epis, including my VP, have been basic truss rods.
