Full House Sunday. That JC is only a hair longer than my Dano but certainly weighs a lot more. With the installation of the Dark Stars, they ditched the pick guard. I think I’ll get a replacement and have another notch cut around the neck pickup.
P.S. The JC is from the Peerless factory in South Korea dated 2007.

No joke about the temps on the east coast this weekend.
I took the cover off of my mini max green egg yesterday to do a little bit of exterior cooking.The grill temp was already at 220 degrees..and I hadn’t started the coals yet.

Normally I’d do a scratch build from the ground up, but in my condition right now I just can’t… so this is the next best thing.
I have three EMG TBird pickups (two TBP and one TBDC), I have a set of the EY pickups coming, but then I just lucked into a Dunable DBird pickup for a really cheap price… so I have some more choices to make.

It's nice to have at least one hollow-body in the collection - they offer such a unique sound. I have 2, one 30" scale, one 34" scale. My '68 Custom Kraft is lighter than your JC as it's a true hollow-body... no central beam.

Lots of choices on the Jack Casady bass. Please feel free to correct me if my research is wrong.
1) There are two separate output jacks. The top is for the original Epi pickup and the side is for the two Dark Stars.
2) The left most (in the photo) knobs are volume and tone for the Epi pickup.
3) The rotary switch (50, 250, 500) are resistor selections. But, I understand that these are connected to the Epi volume pot and, thus, are more of a gain vs. tone change.
4) The right most knobs are for the Dark Stars volume and tone.
5) The three way switch is Dark Star neck, both, bridge.
The last bit of research indicated that this is NOT a semi-hollow body bass as I believed, but a true hollow body. The statement was that the only center block is under the bridge and no center beam. I don't have a scope to look inside to verify.
