If you pulled the interior they probably would've for like $50 more. LOLRoll down the windows, we'll paint the inside, too.

that reverse is the best playing and sounding Gibson I ever laid hands on…..didn’t know a neck and action like that were possible…..
I see a visit to Hollister in my future!

How I feel about my '64. best playing and sounding of any bass I've played. Absolutely nothing about it I don't love. Just wish I would have bought another back then....that reverse is the best playing and sounding Gibson I ever laid hands on…..didn’t know a neck and action like that were possible…..
I can actually confirm that (to my ears) all settings the same, the NR sounds thicker….prefer the playability of the reverse but the looks of the NR…..How I feel about my '64. best playing and sounding of any bass I've played. Interesting. Yeah, I certainly get the love for the NR shape. I'm not so sure I don't prefer it as well. But the reverse feels like it was made for me. I've never played an '60s NR. Never even seen one in person to play AFAIK.I can actually confirm that (to my ears) all settings the same, the NR sounds thicker….prefer the playability of the reverse but the looks of the NR…..![]()

My soundtrack for work today is Blondie. I love this video for the combination of solid musical performance and theater. Another group I wish I had seen back when.
