Just arrived back from a whirlwind expedition to Vegas. Flew out yesterday, plane was delayed landing since Airforce One was given priority to take of from McCarran. Good show at the Sand Dollar Lounge at the Plaza, free rooms, and then back to LA this morning, with a two hour delay on the tarmac due to flash flood warnings and a lightning storm, so ATC grounded everything. But hey, that's Vegas, baby!
I guess even gigs are a gamble. ;)

Good thing you weren’t flying late in the day. LAX was a mess. My daughter barely made it out on JetBlue. United and American grounded dozens of flights due to power/computer problems.

Not to mention heat. Lots and lots of heat.

Our local post office is well run with nice employees. I prefer them too. It does get crowded though. I’m sometimes astonished that the workers are so pleasant given how busy they are.
I've been overall happy with all the major carriers, but when I ship, it's normally USPS unless it's something large like a bass.

The perfect excuse to be a slacker. Not that another excuse is necessary.
One of those days it pays to be running a Linux ecosystem. Our Windows folk have been slammed. The UK team was already in office so most of the US Windows peeps didn't all have to get up in the middle of the night.

While I'm thinking of it, Classifieds is horribly slow. Is it just me? Every other area so far is fine but that one. And the link to report problems is gone (a bit too soon it seems).
AFAIK, the slow classifieds bug report is still open and dependent on an external mysql database.
And you can still get to the bug reports - they're their own forum over there in the TB forum list.
