I don't think it was.Was that one of the "Get Yer Yayas out" shows?
Wow - much thanks for your kind words George. It was recorded at our rehearsal space by our Paul and pretty low-tech, but I agree we were all in the same head-space playing-wise. (no LSD was present!) We have another recording of it from a Santa Cruz cable TV show we did a few years ago. I like our rehearsal space recording better, but here's the other one for comparison -Love it Geo! Possibly my favorite song from your band. It hits all my sweet spots…
Starts out in a free unstructured trippy laid back Grateful Dead type jam, then expertly evolves into a Mazzy Star meets Nancy Sinatra vocal track overlaying a Nick Cave band vibe, goes back to some trippy mood defining instrumentals mid way through, followed by those awesome Mazzy/Nancy vocals, wrapping up in a deconstructed free form individual instrument fade out, and of course chatter at the end to remind us this track isn’t supposed to be formal as much as it is supposed to be mood altering.
Superbly executed by the band! No single member of the band was in lead, it all just flowed and swelled in complete unison, almost like a living organism.
Pass my congrats on to the entire band and the sound engineers that brought this together, and by all means, do more stuff along this very same line, it’s a rare style of music these days and might have a huge following.
FWIW - I’ve always loved the Stones version (one of the few songs of theirs I really like) but by comparison, they sound more structured, more formal (cheesy synth could have been left out) and more sterile than your bands take, they have less emotion and mood. I like your version much better than theirs. Do more!

Gee, Dominos Pizza at least gives you the pizza free if they don’t deliver on time.FedMess story of the day. I had a customer down and shipped them a replacement part via International Overnight. Took 10 days to arrive. I told them I wanted a credit for the $63 fee since they didn't deliver in a timely fashion. They told me that they don't guarantee delivery and I don't get a credit, but I do get a $5 late fee. Good luck getting paid for either.

Looks like they’re in England. Too bad I don’t see a planned tour out here the rest of this year. He’s fine, he’s a busy man.

They never cease to amaze. In a bad way. Which is why I never use them unless it's not my option.FedMess story of the day. Just looked it up. Get Yer Yayas was in 69, but mostly taken from Madison Square Gardens shows.Altamont was ‘69.
“I think I busted a button on my trousers. Hope they don’t fall down. You don’t want my trousers to fall down, now do you?!”
The website just says the "inner coils" and magnets are the same as Gibson Thunderbirds. Are you referring the the ones with what are supposedly Gibson TB+ guts?
I'd like to see both. For Chicago, I'd want most of their music to be from the first three albums... Stones I'd want mainly mid-60s to mid-70s. No clue how likely either is.Tweetchie zone. I've been to ~16 Chicago concerts. Stones-0. 'Zackly the way I like it.
