I've been overall happy with all the major carriers, but when I ship, it's normally USPS unless it's something large like a bass.

I have shipped basses via USPS a number of times. I don't think I ever used another carrier.

One of those days it pays to be running a Linux ecosystem. Our Windows folk have been slammed. The UK team was already in office so most of the US Windows peeps didn't all have to get up in the middle of the night.

Yeah. I use a Mac and run linux servers. Nothing I do depends on Windows.

OK, FedMess is now on my personal hit list. My daughter and grandsons were out for a walk and a FedMess driver starting screaming at them for being out in 90 degree weather. FedMess refuses to even take a report, so called the police to file assault charges. If I see that guy, someone come bail me out.

There was no tracking number. I said you have gps in all the trucks and know exactly which truck and driver it was. He said then call the police.
