The community concert band of which I am a part is doing a coupla things in our next concert which I think just might require being played on a 1967 NRTBird. I've used it B4 for that gig, but my semi-hollow Ibanez creates a more UB sound, so I usually use that. Also the 67NR is a bit more of a PIMA to transport. I'm gonna try it next rehearsal(Tuesday night)and see if it's worth the extra hassle.
Oh... Wait... Thunderbirds are only good for hard rock and metal.
and classic rock, and country, and surf music, and jazz, and big band, and concert band, and any other effing thing you want to use it for.:bassist:

how often do you rehearse in general?

The concert band rehearses every Tuesday night(the concerts are also on Tuesdays-doesn't conflict with pay gigs). The 60s/70s cover band hasn't rehearsed for over a year. We don't need to. We know the 'form' of songs. If someone wants to do something 'new', he tells the rest of us and what key; we listen to it on YT/whatever, talk it over-if needed-and play it on the gig. We've never had a f---* up.

On one of our gigs, a guy asked me if we could do "Unchained Melody". I gave him our standard answer: "Wow. We haven't done that one for awhile(we'd never done it). Lemme check with the guys". He said "OK" and walked off. I turned to the other 3 and asked them if they could play it(I know the lyrics)in-just a sec[diddle, diddle]G. They said yes, so we did it. Turned out it was the couple's anniversary and "Unchained" was 'their song'. Got a pretty decent tip outta that and added another ballad to our repertoire. We get a lotta requests for 'belly rubbers'-we know a bunch.

OK, FedMess is now on my personal hit list. My daughter and grandsons were out for a walk and a FedMess driver starting screaming at them for being out in 90 degree weather. FedMess refuses to even take a report, so called the police to file assault charges. If I see that guy, someone come bail me out.
LOL - if you should happen to catch up to the schmuck and take matters into your own hands, just be sure to mail the body parts back to FedEx via FedEx, with any luck at all they’d lose the evidence.

And remember: friends will help you move; good friends will help you move the bodies.;)

Our company owes FedEx for some invoices. Guess if we hold payment
When I had issues with FedMess I was somehow finally able by luck or Providence to talk to to someone not in Pakistan and even here in town. I was told buy the nice lady they were a mess and would not use them. In part because they are not one company like UPS. Ground is diff from Air, even delivery is divided out in some way. And--those diff companies do not communicate well. Not to mention local drivers are contract workers who bid on their job/route and aren't really part of the company. Unless something has changed.

Same with amazon for some local drivers.

Ok not exactly Thunderbird, but close...
This is the bridge on my new Jack Cassady sig. Is it too high?
I'm trying to get the bow out of the neck (it's not real bad) and I need to raise the action a hair to avoid buzz.
Just looking for some advice, thanks!

The JC Geo hooked me up with has low action, no buzz, and a low bridge. Something is off but I’m not the expert.

The bridge on my Casaday is pretty high in the back as well. So far it seems to work fine and no posts lifting out of the body and low-ish action.
