Waiting for the tour stop in SoCal!
A NY guy wearing a Phillies shirt? WT7
Maybe we can convince North Guitars.Who's sponsoring?!
The motorcycle helmet with ears is a nice touch, too.
I played through one once - didn't make an impression. Like Mike, I didn't play with the settings as it belonged to someone else.I like GK well enough.
But not enough to play one.
Me too! I was joking with my bandmates that my 2006 Toyota Highland with 210K miles would make a great tour vehicle! Would love to put it to the test!Waiting for the tour stop in SoCal!
Nice, but no windmilling?![]()
Who's sponsoring?!
As it should be.Yeah, maybe we could get a sponsorship from Gibson? As Ken pointed out, yesterday's gigs was one of the few where multiple bands are playing and the Fender bass is in the minority!

Just wanted to re-iterate how cool it was to mee these two fine folks in person. I think its a reflection of the people who are in this this club and I feel fortunate to have wandered in here, by accident, about 7 years ago looking for info on an "impulse purchase t-bird".Those guys next to me are gonna do this.

You’re welcome to crash at the mountain place. You and your wife can have the upstairs bedroom. Drummer with the Phillies shirt will have to sleep in the bed in the basement.Me too! The bass quickly became my primary bass and has remained as has this club is my primary connection to talk bass.
I am always truly grateful how generous and open people are in this group, regardless of all the craziness going on in "the outside world".
It is a wonderful respite from the daily drain of negativity happening right now, so huge props to @TBird1958[

We will be bringing this guy as our roadie! Does the invite still stand? You’re welcome to crash at the mountain place. You and your wife can have the upstairs bedroom. Drummer with the Phillies shirt will have to sleep in the bed in the basement.
l same topology, yes…Can they take being overdriven (rails) as gracefully as GK?
Sure. He can bunk with drummy. There are two twin beds (it’s a trundle) in the basement. We will be bringing this guy as our roadie! Does the invite still stand?View attachment 6987634
I was under the impression that the only roadie in the group was Geddy. We will be bringing this guy as our roadie! Does the invite still stand?View attachment 6987634

A special place because of the special people who make it up. Without doubt an exception to internet communities, even here on TB. More like family than Thunderbird nerds who check in for the Thunderbird Fans Only thread.Just wanted to re-iterate how cool it was to mee these two fine folks in person. And with that pic we have returned to the regular Thunderbird Fans Only programming.Thank you, if it's a nice place to hang out, it's always because you all make it that way. Aside from our love for the Thunderbird what I really enjoy about the club is that some of us have managed to meet in person and make a real connection with each other, the friendships and kinship is exceptional.
The power of bass.
