I fell in love with Scottish ale when I did my study abroad thing in the late seventies. Usually a little below room temp. It loses something chilled. Sadly, that is becoming a thing of the past.

Even Guinness do a zero version. I tried a local brand, Carlton Zero version. Horrible stuff. Only saving grace was it was cheap without the excises our Govt charges on alcoholic beverages. Took me weeks to get through the 4 pack.
But the zero alcohol beers seem to be a thing atm.

Many years ago we had supermarket supplied no alcohol “brewed soft drinks” - they weren’t legally “beer” at the time - they were horrible too.

Not a fan.

I’ve had Fosters both ways. It didn’t matter. Still awful.

Yes, using the definition of 'breathing' as something 'living' - you are correct, but it's somewhat true if talking about acoustic instruments. 'Somewhat' because "breathe" is used in a specific way. More 'to move' with humidity and temperature changes - so loosely "breathing". (wood expanding/contracting) But if it has a thick finish the constricts movement/"breathing" - it will sound less "alive". At least that's how I have always interpreted it. The exaggerated use of 'breathing' is if talking about solid-bodied instruments. Necks will move due to temperature/humidity etc, but a solid wood body... ah..,no.

I challenge anyone to tell me my ‘78 Aria acoustic doesn’t sound as good as a 2K plus Gibson, Martin, Guild, etc. I don’t know how they did it. But even my Guild loving brother admits it’s a great guitar.

For a few years, they had it all dialed in. Until the closure of the Matsumoku factory. Amazing guitars and basses. I am forever grateful to my college buddy “Big Al.” He was friends with the US distributor. I’m embarrassed to say what I paid. Let’s just say it was 40% of retail. It and the $999.00 I paid for my ‘15 Thunderbird are the two best deals I’ve ever gotten.

I have a Cort made Ibenez Luthite Ergogoyne. Wonderful neck. Great build quality. The pickups and preamp suck. Say the word, and it’s yours. For cheap.
