House built in the 80s? Looks like the cabinets and countertops from ours in 86. Nothing wrong with that. Not a new Thunderbird. But still cool. New appliance Thursday! The old microwave died, the old oven wouldn’t go above 350, and the igniter went out on the old stove. The module for the oven was no longer available and the igniter repair was going to cost more than the stove was worth. Sometimes it’s better to bite the bullet. She who must be obeyed said it was time.

Gee, wonder where that was shot.
Actually, ‘97. Granite was just coming in and color choices were limited. So we did tile. Last of the lacquered cabinets too. Gas stove. We rarely go out to eat so having a gas cook top is important to us.House built in the 80s? Looks like the cabinets and countertops from ours in 86. Nothing wrong with that.

I can relate. Our fridge died, then 3 weeks later the oven wouldn't shut off. Both Samsung at 10 years. I had replaced the relay board in the oven 5 years ago, but boards aren't available any more. I won't be buying that brand of appliance again! Not a new Thunderbird. But still cool. New appliance Thursday! For about a zillion dollars, it's all yours!I’ll take the 360 off your hands so you’ll have room for one.
We will be buying a refrigerator. Defrosting the frost free fridge has gotten old.Not a new Thunderbird. But still cool. New appliance Thursday! But he has to carry it up the stairs by himself. For about a zillion dollars, it's all yours!
We've have two Samsung fridges. One we bought at the other house and one was already here. I would not buy another either. Their ice makers are junk and were useless not right after warranty ran out on both. But I have heard this is not just a problem with Samsung.I can relate. Our fridge died, then 3 weeks later the oven wouldn't shut off. Both Samsung at 10 years. I had replaced the relay board in the oven 5 years ago, but boards aren't available any more. I would be tempted to leave the door open to show off the pretty red.

We like KitchAid appliances at the other house so that’s what we decided to go with. Can’t beat Samsung prices. But the research I did showed you get what you pay for. The new oven and stove are US made, whatever ever that means these days.I can relate. Our fridge died, then 3 weeks later the oven wouldn't shut off. Both Samsung at 10 years. Now that’s red!
We have a Bosch DW bought during the pandemic. Onlycomplaint is the plastic where the controls are hasn’t held up.Very nice! Happy wife.... more Thunderbirds. Maybe.
We have a large gas cook top and double ovens that are KitchenAid (2005). One nice thing about the ovens is you can easily calibrate the temps if they are not accurate and are too hot or not hot enough. Possibly a common thing now with many newer appliances, but was new to us when we moved in--and they needed adjusting. If you need a dishwasher, our Bosh is the best one we've ever had, and I'm picky about those like tone.
