Thunderbird Club

Went to a Giordano's in Orlando a coupla times. Took one look at a "Chicago Style". :rollno: Waaay too much 'bread' with the toppings.
I notice that 2 or 3 chains are making "NY Style" pizza.
Maybe.
Prolly not.
I used to frequent Giordano's when I lived in Chicago in the '80s - I like the Chicago Style pizza. I also like Sicilian style. Come to think of it, I like all styles of pizza! (but hold the anchovies and pineapple...)

Thank you. And the lord said, it shall be Pelham Blue.
Wow! Great price! The pg is as noted not original so is the pu also a replacement? (not mentioned) If so, it appears the seller wasn't aware of what they had. Rock it Marshall! :bassist:

It’s the BaCH with the mystery pickup! It definitely isn’t an Artec. I’ll take plenty of pics. Most likely, the pickup rout had to be slightly enlarged.

And burnt (over thermalized) pepperoni. That's a bad as overdone/burnt bacon. Both are nasty.

I got a little jazz ed at Berklee for a year, found some locals later on, when I moved to RI and we were doing some Miles jams and a surf version of Monk's "Straight No Chaser". Doused myself in Mahavishnu Orchestra and some 70s Herbie Hancock (w/ Paul Jackson on bass) around that time, but I've just always been kind of a punk rocker.
I remember Watermelon Man being more thematic than anything, kind of a jam inside a simple framework. Am I right?...
Similar here - no formal jazz education but plenty of jazz listening and jam-sessions ala late-'60s/'70s Miles with ex-Berklee musicians. We always refer to it as "fake jazz" but it goes pretty deep sometimes. TSC plays "Boogie, Stop, Shuffle" by Mingus and a couple of Pauls originals have jazz influences. Watermelon Man is fun-ky!

Pizza is good even with anchovies. Pineapple on pizza is a sign of the apocalypse and to be avoided.
