Thunderbird Club

I think I’ll give them a shot. Sounds like they work for you on your J. Maybe they would on a P as well? I’ve wanted to try flats for a long time but I haven’t pulled the trigger. So not sure which one to start the journey with. Maybe the Thunderbird. Maybe the Jazz. Decisions decisions….
The Cobalts are great on any bass.
Definitely worth a try.
As always, strings have their own qualities and it’s all subject to one’s own taste and ears.

Thanks for the advice and to the others for theirs as well. Looks like those SIT’s aren’t cheap though.

How about gauge? I’m pretty much used GHS Bass Boomers mediums. Any pros or cons?
SIT Power Wounds are really similar to Boomers, but possibly a little tighter in the lows. I love SITs.

? They’re about average for these days. Shop around though. Last time I bought some they were on sale at $16.99 a set.

Yes. I chicken out with some foods. Sea Boogers is one of them.
Raw oysters are great until you get a bad one. I don’t necessarily mean one that has gone visibly bad or has an off odor. I’m talking about the not so rare ones that have parasites or bacteria in them. I used to eat oysters on the half shell all the time, never had a problem. My BIL though was hospitalized with sepsis by one that he ate, nearly killed him. From then on out it’s only fried sea boogers for me.

Pork, I heard.
