I'll be pretty busy with the insurance company for a while, so I may not be posting much. Lucky(?) it hit the passenger side door-and that I was alone.

That sucks. I'm sorry, but thankful you're ok! Get thoroughly checked out by a doc, please. It sucks even more to have an accident-related injury show up too late to get their insurance coverage.

Yes, make sure and wait a while before finalizing the insurance. Miles is correct that even if you feel ok now there can be a delayed reaction later.

If he were out here, I could set him up with a lier, I mean a lawyer, who could help him milk it all the way to a vintage Thunderbird with a bridge pickup that worked. Or several Thunderbirds. He would have to go along with the game plan though, have a few sets of injections (whether he needed them or not), and lay low for awhile.

I’m joking. Sort of.

I’m relieved that it doesn’t sound like Mike is badly hurt. Dealing with having to replace his van, at today’s prices, is going to be a real pain.
