Must have hit hard - it's a shock to the body. A hot bath with epsom salt will help.

That sucks. I'm sorry, but thankful you're ok! Get thoroughly checked out by a doc, please. It sucks even more to have an accident-related injury show up too late to get their insurance coverage.Saying goodbye to my gigmobile. Got T-Boned tonight on the way home from a gig. Have to go collect my gear-or what's left of it-tomorrow at the tow yard. I'm a bit stiff, but nothing broken AFAIK.. Wasn't using the 67NR tonight-had the Epi Embassy and Epi EB-0 backup. Should be 'interesting' seeing the damage in daylight. The drummer is gonna take me down there to collect my 'stuff', which I'll bring home and test. Both the drummer and I will be taking lotsa pics for insurance. I'll be pretty busy with the insurance company for a while, so I may not be posting much. Lucky(?) it hit the passenger side door-and that I was alone.
It was a really good evening 'til about 9PM.

Yes, make sure and wait a while before finalizing the insurance. Miles is correct that even if you feel ok now there can be a delayed reaction later.

If he were out here, I could set him up with a lier, I mean a lawyer, who could help him milk it all the way to a vintage Thunderbird with a bridge pickup that worked. Or several Thunderbirds. He would have to go along with the game plan though, have a few sets of injections (whether he needed them or not), and lay low for awhile.
I’m joking. Sort of.
I’m relieved that it doesn’t sound like Mike is badly hurt. Dealing with having to replace his van, at today’s prices, is going to be a real pain.

Oh no. Just assumed the other dude done it. Your insurance company is your best friend if the other party pursues anan injury claim against you.
