Thunderbird Club

You're missing out on not having to keep adjusting your pants or your them not sliding down and people thinking you are a mover, missing out on not having to keep tucking in your shirt, missing out on all that wonderful room to freely move about, missing out on all those pockets to carry and stick things. I love wearing them working on things around the house and wold wear them more but the wife isn't a fan. She grew up on a farm and that was what the old men wore. But she's softened on that. Maybe because I'm old now....
:laugh::laugh:

Never thought it to be a great look.

I’ll give a :thumbsup: to Pino in the Paul Young song “wherever I lay my hat”. Elevates the song.

Did Pino tour with The Who a couple of times?

Kate Bush - I can take or leave. Some of her early stuff was ok but only in small doses. Her film clips were good and I think they spent a bit of money on them. Overall, not really my cup of tea. I wouldn’t go to a concert.
That’s my take.

haven’t played this in years, brushing up as it got requested by Elsa, a new singer…forgot Fossen played a Bird in the video……be interesting to know if he recorded that song finger style (no pick) on a Bird as in the video…..

I saw their encore[1] in Atlanta in 1980, but was way more into guitar then, so don’t recall the bass. I think I would remember a bird (I did for the Who & Skynyrd).

[1] I hadn’t expected to be able to go. I got to the Omni maybe 20 minutes after start time. Every door was locked. Every ticket booth was closed. Cops just shrugged and turned me away. I sat outside and listened. When the band didn’t come back out for a couple of minutes after ending the set, a lot of people left. I made my way in as the crowd thinned, and had a nearly front row seat when the band came out for an encore. I forget what else they played but they absolutely killed “Black Dog”.

That incarnation of the band really was the best, I did like some of their later stuff but it wasn't nearly what this is.........
Steve Fossen part timed at Bass NW, very nice guy!

There are celebrities who have passed away that I admired so much, it was like losing a family member. Bowie’s passing, and Squire’s passing affected me deeply.

It was just announced that Fernando Valenzuela passed away today. I am numb. He was a humble man who brought so much joy to his community. A true American dream story. He will be missed.

New Bib day is better than new string day, but not as good as new bass or amp or boot day. Don't knock 'em if you ain't tried 'em!

Back in the colorful 80's, I had lemon yellow bib overalls. :smug: Found 'em at the local surplus store. Dickies if I recall. I then added a pair of green Adidas with yellow stripes, and a kelly green sand-knit shirt. I looked like some sort of Oakland A's mascot! Couldn't sneak up an anyone in that outfit.
