that's cool -

My new, old, old, new, new, new, old. old toy…need to troubleshoot the lack of sound. It’s a T-500, which is the real deal mechanical tone generators with Leslie. Think mini C-3.

I've just been tinkering with my Hammond now that I finally have a space for it near my recording desk. It's an old M111, all valve, tonewheel, gave it a deep clean, oiled the tone wheel, cleaned the tube pins, and rigged it to go straight into my DAW without the speakers so I ca hook it up to a "leslie". $50, and a complete pain in the *** to move across a couple states and 4 apartments. But it sounds amazing. Never heard the Transistor Hammonds, but they certainly look cool, love the grill cloth.
