Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, Frank and I celebrated with my family last night in the German tradition. Dinner at a nice restaurant, including some excellent raw oysters - they pair with a Dirty Martini rather nicely.
Today is quiet, but I'll be making Irish Stew ( it's gray, grey grau, here in Seattle) later and my friend Bill will join us - Gran Prix of Des Moines afterwords.

I can remember living up in the mountains in Colorado between Ward and Jamestown at over an 8000ft elevation, it took quite a while to boil potatoes without a pressure cooker.
Everything up here needs more pressure:

Bass Amps
Potatoes
Car engines. We don’t call them turbos, we call them high altitude compensators
